1.What the service is

AIPolicyCompare is an informational research tool. It collects publicly available terms of service, privacy policies, and usage policies from AI platforms, structures the language, extracts verbatim citations, and surfaces side-by-side comparisons.

Content on this site is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Risk ratings, summaries, and citations reflect the editors' reading of the plain language of publicly available policies. They are not legal determinations, do not create an attorney-client relationship, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from qualified counsel. 2.Acceptable use

You can read, share, link to, and quote any page on this site freely for non-commercial research, education, and journalism. You can use the JSON files in data/citations/ on the GitHub repo for the same purposes. Attribution is appreciated but not legally required for fair-use quotation.

The following are not permitted:

• Scraping or automated bulk download of the site outside of normal browsing.
• Programmatic access at a rate that would degrade performance for other visitors.
• Attempts to circumvent rate limits, the cookie consent banner, or any other access control.
• Use that misrepresents the site's ratings or citations as legal advice or as the official position of any platform.
• Resale of the data, ratings, or citations as a standalone product. Embedding individual ratings or quotes in your own publication with attribution is fine; selling a wholesale copy of the index is not.

3.Intellectual property

Site design, page layouts, ratings methodology, editorial commentary, contradiction-detection logic, and the structured citation index are owned by AIPolicyCompare.

Verbatim quotes reproduced on this site come from publicly available third-party policies. They are reproduced under fair use for commentary, criticism, research, and news-reporting purposes (17 U.S.C. § 107 in the United States, and the equivalent quotation exceptions in other jurisdictions). Each quote is limited to what is necessary to identify and discuss the underlying clause; we link to the source document so readers can verify the quote in context.

Platform names, logos, and trademarks shown on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. AIPolicyCompare has no affiliation with, sponsorship by, or commercial relationship with any of the platforms covered.

4.Disclaimer

Ratings and citations on this site are provided for informational purposes. We make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness for any particular purpose of the information presented. AI platforms change their policies frequently; the “Last reviewed” date on each platform page is when we last updated our record, not necessarily when the platform last changed its policy. Always verify against the live source document before making a decision.

This site is not legal advice. Legal interpretation of policy language depends on jurisdiction, the parties involved, and a great deal of context the site cannot see. Enterprise contracts, master service agreements, and data processing addenda negotiated between a platform and a specific customer routinely supersede public policies. Consult a lawyer for any decision that has legal consequences.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AIPolicyCompare, its editors, and contributors disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, or legal consequences arising from reliance on the information provided. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

5.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes — anything that meaningfully expands the obligations on you or reduces our obligations to you — we will additionally note the change on the Updates page.

Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you don't agree, stop using the site and (if subscribed) unsubscribe.
